James Michael Hall, age 68, went home to be with the Lord September 26, 2017. He was born in Wheaton, Missouri, December 13, 1948 to Cloy and Amanda (Littlefield) Hall.
Jim started school in a one-room schoolhouse in the Ozarks and went on to teach metal shop, welding, and engineering at El Dorado High School for 19 years, then was Director of Sierra Regional Occupational Program for 14 years. After retiring from EDUHSD, he worked at Folsom Lake Community College and CSUS for a few more years before retiring. In retirement, he continued to...

James Michael Hall, age 68, went home to be with the Lord September 26, 2017. He was born in Wheaton, Missouri, December 13, 1948 to Cloy and Amanda (Littlefield) Hall.
Jim started school in a one-room schoolhouse in the Ozarks and went on to teach metal shop, welding, and engineering at El Dorado High School for 19 years, then was Director of Sierra Regional Occupational Program for 14 years. After retiring from EDUHSD, he worked at Folsom Lake Community College and CSUS for a few more years before retiring. In retirement, he continued to advocate for vocational training by volunteering in high school "shops" and was an active member of CITEA and ASMA. He also taught Hunter Safety courses as well as "hunting and gathering" and fishing with his boys whenever possible.
Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna; sons Joshua (Crystal) and James Michael (Kristy); step-mother Dorothy Hall, and numerous other relatives who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and brother C.B.
He will be buried at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Roller cemetery in his beloved Ozarks in Missouri with a memorial service to follow at a later date in Placerville.
