Benjamin Franklin Ewing Jr., 89 of Fayetteville and formerly of Rogers and Paris, passed away Friday, March 10. He was born September 15, 1927 in Prairie View to the late Benjamin F. Ewing Sr. and Mary Winnie Newman Ewing. His life revolved around his contract mail route, laundromat, bus station and his family. For more than 50 years he was the loving husband of LaRuth Ewing, who preceded him. Survivors include his son, Michael Ewing Sr. and wife, Chris of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Nikki Anderson and husband, Adam of Jonesboro and Michael Ewing Jr. of Fayetteville;...

Benjamin Franklin Ewing Jr., 89 of Fayetteville and formerly of Rogers and Paris, passed away Friday, March 10. He was born September 15, 1927 in Prairie View to the late Benjamin F. Ewing Sr. and Mary Winnie Newman Ewing. His life revolved around his contract mail route, laundromat, bus station and his family. For more than 50 years he was the loving husband of LaRuth Ewing, who preceded him. Survivors include his son, Michael Ewing Sr. and wife, Chris of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Nikki Anderson and husband, Adam of Jonesboro and Michael Ewing Jr. of Fayetteville; a great grandson, Luke Green; 3 sisters-in-law, Harlene Bass and husband Donald of Rogers, Shirley Torres of Georgia and Patty Machiabello of Texas; his church family and many dear friends. Services will be Wednesday, March 15 at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church with Visitation beginning at 10:00am and the Funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
